Celebrate the Season with Elliot Lake Writers was a great success today. Sixteen local authors delighted the audience with their short stories and poetry. There was a large turn-out in the 50th room at the Civic Centre; close to 50 people in attendance and we were honoured by the presence of Mayor Hamilton.
A big thank you to our instructor, Hilda Ross, who was our delightful Emcee this afternoon.
A big thank you to all writers who read their work. It was a wonderful, entertaining afternoon.
And a big thank you to all who attended. Thanks to everyone for making our annual event a great success.
