BEYOND THE BLUE is a story that takes place in a Toronto neighbourhood way back in the 1950's. I actually remember those days well. Bullying was a problem then as it is today although to a lesser degree in that in those days it was rare that weapons be used or that drugs be involved. Yes, it was more innocent but make no mistake, for the child being bullied it was a harrowing experience. "Enigami" is the message beyond the blue but what on earth can that possibly mean...? This coming-of-age story is one I believe many school-aged children will find believable and inspiring. I hope you will enjoy it too.
