Beat the Bias Bazaar was a celebration of entrepreneurial women hosted by the Elliot Lake Women's Group on March 21st, 2026, at the Collins Hall in Elliot Lake.
I was pleased to be invited as one of those to have a vendor's table. I attended with a good selection of my books, and three paintings.
It was such a pleasure to see many good friends, old and new, at this event. The turnout was low due to the fact that we had for days before endured a massive blizzard that did its best to bury Elliot Lake under snow.
Despite the low attendance, I was pleased to have sold all but two titles from my table. And I am very happy to say that these two books have since sold.
I received many compliments on my acrylic paintings but, alas, no sales. I'm running out of walls at home and I truly do want to sell my paintings. Until today I've sold about twenty-three paintings, but I still have plenty more to choose from. Please message me if you are seeking colour for your walls. I love colour and my paintings demonstrate that love.
Special thanks to Becca, Women's Group representative, for the invitation to attend. It was a lovely day, and thanks to all who purchased one of my books.
