After our wonderful Elliot Lake Writer's meeting this afternoon I'm feeling very motivated to write another novel; goal is to have it published before this time next year.
My most recent novel is a metaphysical/science fiction novel and here is a little bit about it and a review. Again, several readers have shared positive thoughts about this book with me, but for some reason are hesitant to write reviews. Therefore, STRUGGLE has received only one review on Amazon but it is a good one. Thank you
Stephen Calverley for taking the time to write this very welcome review.

STRUGGLE - To Reach the Bridge of Light is a metaphysical/science fiction novel. Mother Earth has had enough. It is a sad day when a mother gives up on her children. The chosen seven share their stories as they lived their lives on earth. Scattered throughout the world in Canada, United States, Peru, Venezuela, and New Zealand, they are each warmed by the blue triangle which delivered the bridge of light that carries them to a small island in the Caribbean. Guided by Archangel Michael, they continue their journey on the bridge of light to the old brown boat which magically takes them to the centre of the sea. The merkabas arrive and the seven ascend to a way station where they meet Great Cosmic Power who informs them that they are a soul family reunited to continue their ascension as the chosen children of light.

It has been quite a while since I have been able to enjoy the respite of a fiction novel - that is, until now. "Struggle to Reach the Bridge of Light" is perfectly suited for this time. Instead of asking the reader to forget about the pandemic, the decimation of our living planet, conflict about religion, and the rise of authoritarian politics, Austin weaves all these topics into this wonderful, uplifting story of seven characters. Thank you, Audrey Austin, for this book. Itself, a ray of light perfectly suited for this time.
