Members of the Elliot Lake Writers' Fall Festival Planning Committee move with confidence toward our special day which will be Saturday, October 22, 2011.
On this special day we will celebrate the first ever Writers' Fall Festival in Elliot Lake. Our celebration will include guest facilitators, Brian Henry (How To Get Published) and Dr. Ross Pennie (Memoir Writing); writing competitions with prizes for adults and children; Open Mike poetry and short story readings; Entertainment; Vendors' tables and the launch of the Elliot Lake Writers'Anthology of Short Stories and Poetry.
Mark your calendar early! Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Lester B. Pearson Civic Centre followed by Open Bar at 5 pm & Dinner, 6 pm, at the Renaissance Centre with after dinner guest speaker, Dr. Ross Pennie.
