January is a busy month for this writer and for most Elliot Lake Writers.
Meetings abound and OAC Grant deadline is February 1st.
There are two Wynterblue WynLit 24 Competitions happening January 8th & January 22nd. If you like writing short stories check out Wynterblue's website.
"Creative Connections"....a collaborative Exhibition by Elliot Lake Visual & Literary Artists opens at the Civic Centre on Tuesday, January 11th. Opening reception will be January 14th at 7 p.m. This Exhibition runs until Saturday, February 5th.
The first regular meeting in the new year of Elliot Lake Writers' Workshop takes place the evening of Monday, January 17th in the 50th room at the Civic Centre. Elliot Lake Writers meet from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the third Monday of each month. Membership fees of $20 are due at this meeting. New members welcome.
On Friday, January 21st we will be busy setting up our ELWW & Authors' Display Tables at the Civic Centre in preparation for the Arts & Culture Trade Show taking place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 22nd.
A very busy month ahead indeed.
