“Folk Art – Colourful Explorations” contains many paintings created by me over the past few years. I love to paint. I was in my mid-seventies when I began with my earliest paintings.
It was friends who gave me the title of ‘folk artist’. I accepted, and I continue to be a prolific painter into my eighties. I love colour.
In this publication are many of my paintings. I hope you will enjoy my folk art.
I am very happy that my work has been juried and accepted to participate in Arts on the Trail in September this year. I will have my table with my paintings set up at Elliot Lake Secondary School and this is an event I am very much looking forward to. I hope I will see you there. I'm really excited and hoping to experience some sales.
