REAWAKENING is free in the Kindle Store on New Year's Eve Day!

Celebrate New Year's Eve day! My gift to you is the Kindle edition of REAWAKENING.

Review
With regard to this book let me share with you one review by Maggie Kirton who was the Executive Director of Wynterblue Publishing Canada.

She writes, "Every now and then a manuscript comes across my desk that completely captivates me. Austin has reached inside the human heart and removed all boundaries pertaining to everlasting love and her ability to play with the English language successfully is astounding.
Austin's Reawakening is a must read. It will take you into a land not far from your heart and bring you back to earth again believing that all things are possible with love and hope."

Another review of REAWAKENING:

" Let me first wipe my droplets of moisture from my eyes. Some shed from sadness of a love so strong and true, that never seems to be a " togetherness of two the way I would hope. Then some shed for the amazing job... Austin did in making me laugh at the craziness of our "human" lives.
"Reawakening" is a story I could not give anything less than 5 stars too. It is a love story, mixed with sci-fi, also mixed with drama and the comedy that sneaks up if you have the ability to laugh at oneself. Would I go as far as calling this book a romance...no I cannot! It is a book of love, true love, something many think they know, but will realize if by this story very few may actually have it right. A love on earth were age, appearance were not important to the two involved, happiness, comfort, and love was without a question in their lives. A must read for men and women.

From the Author

Reawakening is a novel that reveals itself in a place called Notsew. Here is a story that takes the reader on a journey, along with the story's characters, far from earth. In this place called Notsew the powers that be have great curiosity. They want to learn more about why human beings do the things they do and mostly they want to learn about some strange phenomena best described as emotion. The story's characters find themselves unwilling participants in an experiment.

I dedicated this story to my dear sister, Muriel, because she just loved it. Of all the things I had written this was her favourite. And though my sister is now also far from earth the love we shared continues to make me feel as close to her as ever.

Although I didn't know it at the time I wrote Reawakening, I believe there were greater forces at work. Why do I think this? Because the love my sister & I continue to share is the kind of love shared by the characters in this story. Nothing and no one - not even death - can lessen the power of love.

REAWAKENING is free in the Kindle Store on all Amazon sites on New Year's Eve Day.
This book is also available in paperback format on all Amazon sites or directly from Createspace.com

Following Willow's Lead - a Christmas story free Dec. 24th to Dec. 26th in the Kindle Store on all Amazon sites

Following Willow's Lead - a Christmas story, will be free for your Christmas reading enjoyment commencing Friday, Christmas Eve day, December 24th, up to and including Sunday, December 26th in the Kindle Store on all Amazon sites.

Since that morning, Gerry would take Willow’s leash and collar down from its hook on the kitchen wall and he would go searching for his best friend. He knew that Willow loved to chase the squirrels in the bush. He was determined to find her.

Gerry had forgotten that Willow had died. You see, Gerry Murphy has Alzheimer disease.

Following Willow's Lead is an inspirational Christmas story about a man who finds happiness in a most unusual way on Christmas Eve Day. Cover design of this short story features my German Shepherd/Mastiff with the name of "Ki" who is a ray of sunshine in my life.

Alzheimer is a terrible unrelenting thief. But much greater than this disease are hope, determination, and love. These are the real stars in the sky on this Christmas Eve.
,
Special thanks to my dear friend, Maggie Kirton for the prompt that inspired me to write this Christmas story

Check out my author's page at http://www.amazon.com/author/audreyaustin and I hope you will enjoy this Christmas story.

A Christmas Wish .... a poem by Audrey Austin

A CHRISTMAS WISH

A time of love, a time for sharing
Let's find new says to light the path
While old traditions tried and true
Express how much we're caring
For our family
For our friends
For people 'round our hungry world.

A time of peace, a time for laughter
Let's find new ways to share the love
While old relationships hold fast
We'll open hearts, extend our reach
To neighbours near
To neighbours far,
To those with whom we've yet to meet.

A time of joy, a time to remember
The holy birth of the blessed child
Who gave us the reason
To celebrate this season
A season of love, of caring, of sharing,
Love will brighten the path of all who are weary.
Hold the light, share the light, be the light.

Merry Christmas!

Ellen and the Hummingtree
by
Audrey Austin

Cover design: http://yuneekpix.com

A strong woman of faith, Ellen sits beneath her Hummingtree and talks to God through the yellow quartz rock.
She gifts us with glimpses of her life and shares the import of her personal relationship with family, friends and with God.
She allows us to witness her vulnerability and invites us into her heart where we experience her joys and sorrows.
In a few instances the author has drawn from her life’s experience but, in essence, Ellen is a composite of many beautiful, spiritual women the author has known and loved throughout her journey.
It is hoped you will welcome Ellen into your heart and it is hoped you will enjoy the stories she shares with you in this book; her fictional, magical, mystical memoirs titled Ellen and The Hummingtree.
At the outset of this writing journey we met. I became acquainted with her and now I can say that I truly like Ellen. She has the courage of her convictions And no matter what life threw at her, she never lost faith.
If someone you love is experiencing Alzheimer Disease, as Ellen does, then you will want to read Ellen's story.

The Linen Cupboard .. free Sunday, Nov. 22nd, in the Kindle Store

It is moving day; a most difficult time. Not only is she saying good-bye to the house but also to her mother. She feels okay though, keeping herself together, until she reaches the linen cupboard.

I love writing short stories and it is my pleasure to add my latest short story titled The Linen Cupboard to my current collection available for your reading pleasure. When my mother passed away more than 25 years ago I truly was okay leaving her home; that is until I knew it was time to empty her linen cupboard. This personal experience is the inspiration for this fictional story.

The Linen Cupboard is free tomorrow, Sunday, November 22nd, for your reading pleasure in the Kindle Store. Check it out at Amazon.ca or at my author's page http://www.amazon.com/author/audreyaustin

SARA, a Canadian Saga, free in the Kindle Store, Wednesday, November 4th

The time is 1916. Sara is a 10 year old girl in rural Prince Edward Island. Roy is a 10 year old boy in mining town, Nova Scotia. Through their eyes we see, feel and experience their childhood challenges. We follow them through adolescence and their turbulent teen years. We celebrate their courtship and suffer their lost innocence in the wedding ritual. They take us through the Great Depression and share with us the frustrations, dreams and challenges they face in adulthood. As parents they introduce us to their children. This story appeals to all ages because Sara and Roy hold up a mirror and ask the reader to recognize truth about the human condition for many Canadian families through difficult economic times. We witness love that does not come neatly wrapped and experience the quiet, sometimes desperate, drama of lives unfolding.
SARA, a Canadian Saga, is free tomorrow (Wednesday) in the Kindle Store for your reading pleasure. Check it out at http://www.amazon.com/author/audreyaustin

If you enjoyed reading SARA, thanks for your positive review on Amazon.
