Here are some reviews of Moose Road - a Canadian Tragedy:

"I grabbed your book and headed for bed. This was about 7:30.
I turned out the light just after midnight.
I couldn't put it down!
... Your characters are so real and believable! I absolutely fell in love with the Road, and Santo's dad, Arthur broke my heart and I think we all know someone a little like Eunice...
Just wonderful!
I liked how you interjected the Road's thoughts midway, and I liked the ending!
The story is riveting. I felt like I knew these people!"

Susan Ruby K.

A review by Lucy Ann Spence:

"WOW !!! Just finished reading this fabulous book...Audrey, you have a winner here...thoroughly enjoyed it and held my attention right to the end...."

Moose Road is an exciting story and the characters living on the same road were all so down to earth, and it is a story you will not want to put down
until you have finished reading it as I know I couldn't. There has been a lot of research put into this story and the author is to be commended on her
great work. Eleanor Lambert.

Moose Road, 15 Oct 2013

By The Brit "KC"

This review is from: Moose Road a Canadian Tragedy (Kindle Edition)
I give four stars for a really good story.
Who is to blame for the Moose Road Tragedy? Can Moose Road itself tell us?
Listen to the seven families as they give their accounts for what happened.
Do they blame each other? What conclusions do the insurance investigators draw?
Who does the judge blame? And why is murder committed after the enquiry?
To find out, you have to read, Moose Road.
It is a really good story.

Sara, a Canadian Saga

Kindle version of Sara, a Canadian Saga, is FREE today on Amazon.

The time is 1916. Sara is a 10 year old girl in rural Prince Edward Island. Roy is a 10 year old boy in mining town, Nova Scotia. Through their eyes we see, feel and ex...perience their childhood challenges. We follow them through adolescence and their turbulent teen years. We celebrate their courtship and suffer their lost innocence in the wedding ritual. They take us through the Great Depression and share with us the frustrations, dreams and challenges they face in adulthood. As parents they introduce us to their children. This story appeals to all ages because Sara and Roy hold up a mirror and ask the reader to recognize truth about the human condition for many Canadian families through difficult economic times. We witness love that does not come neatly wrapped and experience the quiet, sometimes desperate, drama of lives unfolding.

A tragic accident takes place involving a school bus and a snowplow just five days before Christmas. Everyone on Moose Road is impacted by this tragedy and all of a sudden the insurance company is looking for someone to blame. Characters are down to earth and brought alive in Moose Road but perhaps the one whose story most touches the heart is that of the road itself.

Facebook "Likes"

Thank you Carol Hilliard for "liking" my short story FB Page. You are the 100th person to do so and I appreciate it.

Thanks to everyone who takes a moment to "like" one, two or all of my FB pages. Yes, I have a lot of them.

I have a separate page for each one of my books; and I have a page for my short stories; and then I have another FB author's page; all in addition to my timeline.

It may not seem like much to you unless of course you are also a writer. And if you are also a writer you know it means a lot just to know that someone has listened, if only for a moment; that someone has cared about what you are about and they have taken the time to say, "yes, I like this."

Creative writing is a solitary passion. One needs, of necessity, to be alone in order to write.

So thanks Carol and thanks to everyone for letting me and also other authors know we are supported and encouraged in our creative writing simply by clicking on a page's "like".
