On Sunday July 29th, my most recent short story titled The Man On The Bench will be free in the Kindle Store for your reading enjoyment.
The Man On The Bench is a metaphysical delight.
She sees the old man on the bench as she walks her dog through the park just as she does every morning, rain or shine.
What is it that causes her to change her walking route this morning? What is it that draws her to approach him? What is it that causes her dog to behave the way he does?
This fictional short story may leave the reader with a tear in the eye and a smile in the heart.
This short story and all my books are available on all Amazon sites. Check out my author's page at https://amazon.com/author/audreyaustin

REAWAKENING ... a novel
REAWAKENING is my second novel written a few years ago now. I had such fun writing this story and, as it turned out, it was the favourite of my sister, Muriel.
Below are a couple of reviews REAWAKENING received at the time of publication.
Unfortunately this book is no longer available in print format but it is available for your reading pleasure in the Kindle Store on all Amazon sites.
A review by Ann on Goodreads
It was amazing.
Let me first wipe my droplets of moisture from my eyes. Some shed from sadness of a love so strong and true, that never seems to be a " togetherness of two the way I would hope. Then some shed for the amazing job Austin did in making me laugh at the craziness of our "human" lives.
"Reawakening" is a story I could not give anything less than 5 stars too. It is a love story, mixed with sci-fi, also mixed with drama and the comedy that sneaks up if you have the ability to laugh at oneself.
Would I go as far as calling this book a romance...no I cannot! It is a book of love, true love, something many think they know, but will realize if by this story very few may actually have it right. A love on earth where age, appearance were not important to the two involved; happiness, comfort, and love was without a question in their lives. A must read for men and women
a review written by her publisher at Wynterblue Publishing Canada:
Every now and then a manuscript comes across my desk that completely captivates me. Austin has reached inside the human heart and removed all boundaries pertaining to everlasting love ... and her ability to play with the English language successfully is astounding.
Austin's Reawakening is a must read. It will take you into a land not far from your heart and bring you back to earth again believing that all things are possibel with love and hope.

CrabappleCourt
Susie Donnelly is missing. Has she run away or is she just a little girl playing hide and seek? Is it a kidnapping? A murder?
Without exception the residents of Crabapple Court do not like to draw attention to themselves or to their homes. They do not like publicity. They do not appreciate media attention but this day, whether they like it or not, the Fairmont residents are keeping them under strict scrutiny. Indeed the eyes of the entire country are fixed upon them.

Celebrating my 11th Writing Anniversary :-)
This week I celebrate my 11th writing anniversary. During these years I have had published by Wynterblue Publishing Company, (forever grateful Maggie Kirton), and later as an independent author, 19 paperback books plus many short stories that, like Daniel, dare to stand alone. My short stories, which I love to write, are available in my 5 short story anthologies. Individually they are available in Kindle format only on all amazon sites.
I want to thank you, my readers, for your continued support throughout these 11 years.
This past year has been one of much transition and I have written little but inspiration, accompanied by motivation, has made a recent visit. I am writing again. Tomorrow will see the publication of a short story recently written and titled "The Man on the Bench". I've recently submitted a poem to White Mountain Publications which they may or may not accept for their annual anthology. I hope they will but, to me, what is important is that I felt inspired to write it.
I continue to work on "All Them Houses - part 2 - from John Paul to Bedlam". I also continue to work on "A Handful of Memories". I hope to have both of these works published this year.
Two of my novels, "Sara, a Canadian Saga", and "When God Gives Us Spring" will soon be available as audio books. Sara is being narrated by Falon Echo; When God Gives Us Spring is being narrated by Earl Sewell. I look forward very much to these audio book releases.
I continue to sell my books exclusively through all Amazon sites. Visit my author's page at http://www.amazon.com/author/audreyaustin
To celebrate my 11th writing anniversary this coming Tuesday my very first novel, "Sara, a Canadian Saga", will be offered free for your reading pleasure on all Amazon sites.
